You're on an idyllic vacation in a faraway land, setting up for a beautiful landscape shot with a prominent relic in the background, but the street is congested with locals and other tourists.
Your friends set-up for the pose of a lifetime - it's the first time you've seen each other in months - maybe years, but the photo is ruined by some obnoxious passer-by who decides to insert themselves into your picture.
It's happened to most of us before, but it's a problem that just might have a solution in the Remove app by Scalado.
Designed for mobile phones supporting the Android OS, Remove is slated to be introduced to the public at the 2012 Mobile World Conference in Barcelona, beginning February 27th, but we were able to get a sneak peek at this handy little utility.
It works by taking multiple shots of the same picture and merging the still elements while removing the moving elements. It's not a perfect app, as it requires you to hold your phone/camera very still to get the perfect picture, but it does allow you to scroll between the various shots to select the one you like most. Perhaps it was because this isn't the final version of app that will be released next week, but we did have one instance where we saw a ghostly silhouette of a face in the background - an errant passerby that wasn't completely erased as intended.
Still, it's an exciting development in the arena of photo utilities, and bodes well for more advanced platforms, such as consumer-based point-and-click and DSLR cameras.

How to Leave Someone You Still Love
By Laurie W, eHow Contributor
Leaving someone you still love is one of the hardest things you'll ever do. It's the emotional equivalent of lifting a piano with your bare hands. Yet, if you are in a dysfunctional relationship, you simply must follow your head and not your heart.
1 of 6
Leave your partner if he has a fatal flaw. For example, if he has been emotionally or physically abusive, unable to break a drug or alcohol addiction (and refuses help), or cannot be faithful to you, then you must walk away.
2 of 6
List his bad qualities, forget the good. You must focus on all her bad traits if you want to have the strength to pull this off. You still love him, so it will be difficult when he once again implores you to forgive him for hitting you, cheating on you or wrecking the car when she was drunk, for example.
3 of 6
Gather your friends. Your friends are your best resource to see you through this. Siblings may also be helpful, but in general, family relationships are so complicated that you can't necessarily count on brothers, sisters and parents to fully understand why you are leaving your husband or running away from your fiancee. Families have agendas; friends always have your best interest at heart.
4 of 6
Think quick and clean--like pulling off the proverbial bandage. It's always the best way. No one wants to get dumped. Don't try for a long, drawn-out romantic weekend in the Bahamas. What's the point of stretching out all the hurt when you know what's coming?
5 of 6
Allow the pain to flow. There will be tears. There may be screams, accusations, thrown pillows, ripped bank receipts or bashed-in garage doors. Allow the pain to flow, but don't allow yourself to be abused. Once the breakup is over, feel what you need to feel and no more. Do not allow the other person to contact you unless there are kids or property issues involved. If you are in business with that person, seriously consider ending the business arrangement.
6 of 6
Kiss and say goodbye. After the hours of crying and wretching about all you were and could have been, let go. Give your lover a kiss and say goodbye--for good. Repeat romances--though common--are unhealthy and rarely work. Thus, when you let your partner go, hug him like it will be the last time and wish him what we all wish: a happy life.
How To Tell If Someone Is A Liar
How to Tell if Someone is a Liar
By eHow Contributor, eHow User
If you are easily fooled by someone, it doesn't mean you are naive. Some people are good liars and are very convincing. Here are a few ways to tell if someone is a liar. Keep in mind that it's not always easy to tell, but these are some clues that might help you!
1 of 7
Listen closely to what the person you think is lying is saying. Often times you can tell if someone is a liar just by the words they are using. A liar will often repeat the question you ask or use the exact words in his/her reply. "Did you take the wallet?" "Did I take the wallet? No I did not take the wallet." A lot of effort goes into their answer and the repeat of the question seems to be a stalling tactic to give them more time to create an answer.
2 of 7
A liar will often make more conversation about a subject than necessary. One simple question about a wallet (in step 1) may turn into a big dissertation about how the wallet could have been lost, where it might be and how this person was busy all day so he/she could not possibly have taken it." Information overload. This person may be trying to make you believe you are being ridiculous for even asking or assuming he/she stole the wallet.
3 of 7
A liar may say, "What?" even though he/she heard exactly what you said. This again is due to some much needed processing time so the person can come up with a lie about the situation at hand.
4 of 7
Body language plays a huge part in determining if someone is a liar. When someone is lying, they may avoid eye contact with the person they are lying to. They might also touch their face as if to cover it--such as rubbing their nose while talking. They may also fidget with their hands or an object like keys.
5 of 7
Often a liar will put something such as a book, glass or other object between the two of you. This is a sign that this person needs space and does not want to discuss the subject.
6 of 7
Another way to tell if someone is a liar is to try to get them to give details about the subject you suspect he/she is lying about. Ask specific questions because it will be hard for a liar to remember what they told you only minutes before unless they are a professional con artist! Interrupt them mid-sentence with a completely off base question and then get back to the original question. They will likely stumble with their answer.
7 of 7
The most important thing to understand is that just because a person has one of these traits, it does not mean he/she is a liar. It is best to already know this person's normal behavior to see if it is completely off base. Some people are nervous and fidget -- so that doesn't mean they are a liar. However, the tips above will help you get clued in to someone's behavior if you do suspect they are lying.

Grammy spotlight shines on Adele
By Sue Zeidler
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The Grammys in recent years have targeted young audiences even as older acts won key awards to the surprise of some music fans, but this Sunday's honors will shine its spotlight on Adele, whose popularity crosses all age boundaries.
The soulful British singer, whose album "21" has spawned massive hits like "Rolling in the Deep" and topped charts for 19 weeks, enters music industry's biggest awards with six nominations, second only to rapper Kanye West with seven.
But all ears will be tuned in to Adele, 23, who is scheduled to give a Grammy performance that is her first since undergoing throat surgery late last year. And everybody -- young and old -- wants to know if 2011's top-selling performer has recovered.
"My eight-year-old daughter sings Adele songs, and my friend's 75-year-old grandmother sings Adele songs," said Nic Harcourt, former radio host at KCRW, who is among those credited with helping put the British chanteuse on the U.S. music map.
Adele's voice was a breath of fresh air in 2011 for a struggling industry. "21" album sold more copies in one year than any other act since Usher's "Confessions" in 2004. Its current U.S. sales total is roughly 6.3 million copies.
In years past, the Grammys have often seen relative newcomers in top categories like album of the year face off against veteran acts, only to see the older performers win, shocking the youth-driven industry. Herbie Hancock's 2007 jazz album, "River: The Joni Letters," was among the recent surprises.
That won't happen at Sunday's ceremony in Los Angeles. Competing for album of the year are Adele with "21," Lady Gaga for "Born This Way," Rihanna with "Loud," Bruno Mars for "Doo-Wops & Hooligans" and Foo Fighters for "Wasting Light."
Indeed, many of the major categories are dominated by younger pop stars like Adele, Gaga, Katy Perry and Rihanna. Traditional rockers are largely missing, with the exception of legends Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen who are both set to perform at Sunday's show in Los Angeles.
ADELE, NO POP CONFECTION
But in an ironic twist, Adele gained stardom precisely because she has appealed to so many audience groups with her soulful ballads such as "Someone Like You" that sound like a throwback in an industry dominated by electronic dance music.
"She's got a little more substance and is not just a pop confection. With a classic sound, veteran Grammy voters will have no problem supporting her, while she also reaches the young," said Bob Merlis, president of MFH Publicity.
Adele's singles have been played on multiple radio formats, helping to sell albums to older consumers as well as younger fans who tend to buy music online.
David Bakula, senior vice president, analytics of entertainment for Nielsen said Adele has "gone beyond the bounds of a simple pop artist, which appeals to a younger, more singles-driven crowd. Katy Perry's a good example of a star who sells tons of singles, but not tons of albums."
Elsewhere, Kanye West's seven nods crown a critical and commercial comeback for the controversial 34-year-old rapper who took a self-imposed hiatus from performing in 2009.
West recorded his best rap album contender "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" in Hawaii after removing himself from the mainstream music scene following harsh criticism over his 2009 outburst involving country starlet Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Already a 14-time Grammy winner, he is nominated for song of the year for "All of the Lights" and best rap performance with Jay-Z for "Otis".
The best new artist category reflects an eclectic mix of artists, from female rapper Nicki Minaj and hip-hop artist J. Cole, to country sensations The Band Perry, house and electropop performer Skrillex and American folk band Bon Iver.
"Rhinestone Cowboy" singer Glen Campbell, 75, currently on a
goodbye tour after announcing he has early stage Alzheimer's disease, will receive a lifetime achievement award and will perform with The Band Perry and Blake Shelton.
Other performers will include veteran crooner Tony Bennett -- who is nominated for his "Body and Soul" duo with the late Amy Winehouse -- Alicia Keys, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson and Chris Brown.
Bonnie Raitt will perform in remembrance of "At Last" singer Etta James, who died in January at the age of 73, and rapper and "NCIS: Los Angeles" actor LL Cool J will be the first official host of the Grammy Awards in seven years.
Winners are determined by about 13,000 members of the Recording Academy, but only a handful of trophies in the 78 categories will be handed out on Sunday's live telecast.

Superbowl - Kelly, Giants, Madonna & Chevy
I didn't see Kelly Clarkson sing the national anthem but I think she has a great voice so I'm sure she did fine. Ok I just went and watched it on youtube and as I expected, she was flawless.
There were not many touchdowns but I did see a lot of hot guys in tight pants with nice butts. lol. The touchdowns made were good ones. I especially liked the first one and the last one, both by the Giants which is the team I was rooting for since my Cowboys didn't make it this year.
Now the halftime show. First let me say that at 53 Madonna is still one sexy woman. I thought Nicki Minaj and MIA could have had a bigger part in it but then again it was Madonna's half time show. And I totally missed the finger that MIA shot. Must have been taking a drink of my ice cold adult beverage. LMAO. My favorite part was the final song "Like a Prayer" with Cee Lo. The ending was beautiful. Madonna has truly grown older gracefully and with class.
As for the commercials, all of them were pretty good. I'd have to say my favorite was the Chevy, wait maybe the Chrysler , oh I don't know, the Pepsi commercial with Elton John and Melonie Amaro was good too. Ok, I don't have a favorite, I liked them all.
Well that's it from me for tonight. Peace!
